Attorneys Brian Petersen and Joshua Edwards volunteered to provide free family law legal advice on “Let Joe Know, Ask a Lawyer Phone Bank.” The program is organized by the State Bar of Arizona along with ABC15 Arizona as part of the Access to Justice Initiative. It offers an opportunity for viewers to call in to have legal questions answered by attorneys with experience practicing in a specific area.

From 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on August 15, 2019, Attorneys Petersen and Edwards, along with 7 other volunteer lawyers, answered callers’ questions on various family law topics. The most common were about child support, enforcement of child support, grandparents’ rights, and general community property questions. The public service program helped 223 people.

When the State Bar of Arizona asked for volunteers, Attorneys Petersen and Edwards were eager to jump on the opportunity. Volunteering and community involvement has always been part of the focus at Edwards & Petersen | PLC.
